Q: Why do I need an EncompassOne membership?
A: Managing home maintenance, repairs and improvement projects can be overwhelming. With EncompassOne, you no longer need to track multiple service providers or coordinate schedules. We handle everything—requests, quotes, invoices, and payments—all through your Member Portal or by contacting us at hello@encompassonehome.com or 913-325-4143. Plus, our semi-annual preventative maintenance ensures your home stays in top shape year-round.
Q: What’s included in an EncompassOne Membership?
A: Your membership includes:
Preventative Maintenance (included in Full Membership)
• Initial Complete Home Assessment – During your first visit, we conduct a thorough evaluation of your home’s key systems and components, providing a detailed report that establishes a baseline for ongoing maintenance.
• Comprehensive Semi-Annual Preventative Maintenance Service – Twice a year, we perform scheduled maintenance to keep your home in top condition. After each visit, you’ll receive a checklist detailing completed services and any recommendations for future care. For a detailed list of preventative maintenance that is performed during these visits, please see the “Included Maintenance Plan” section of this page.
Vetted Contractor Network – Need work beyond routine maintenance? We provide access to our trusted service provider network and handle all coordination, quotes, and billing—so you don’t have to.
Free Consultations – Have a home project in mind? Whether a small repair or a large renovation, we’re here to help from start to finish.
Q: What service area do you cover?
A: We currently serve the Johnson County, KS area. If you’re outside this zone, contact us at hello@encompassonehome.com or 913-325-4143—we may still be able to assist!
Q: How is EncompassOne different from a home warranty?
A: Unlike a home warranty that only covers specific breakdowns with lengthy claims processes, we provide proactive maintenance and full-service coordination for any home service need. No claim denials or surprise exclusions—just reliable home care.
Q: How long do I have to sign up for? Is there a contract?
A: Memberships are flexible, but there is a 6-month minimum commitment. Why? If you choose to cancel before 6 months, you’ll be billed for the remainder of that period. After 6 months, you can cancel anytime with a 30-day notice. Basic All-Access Membership has no minimum commitment.
Q: How much does an EncompassOne membership cost?
A: Basic All-Access Membership starting at just $14.99 per month (or $150 per year with upfront payment) and Full Membership available at $49.99 per month (or $500 per year with upfront payment). Contact us at hello@encompassonehome.com or 913-325-4143.

Q: How do I change my payment method?

Service & Repairs
Q: Do you work on appliances?
A: Yes! We provide minor repairs and diagnostics. If a major repair or replacement is needed, we’ll help coordinate everything with one of our trusted appliance technicians.
Q: I already have a list of repairs I need completed. Can you help?
Q: How do I submit a service request?
A: Easily submit requests through our Member Portal, by emailing hello@encompassonehome.com or calling 913-325-4143.
Q: How often can I request service?
A: Members can request service anytime—whether it’s routine maintenance, a minor repair, or a major project.
Q: What’s your standard response time for a repair?
A: We respond within 24 hours. With repair completion varying by scope. Non-urgent requests are scheduled at a time that suits you.
Q: What repairs require third-party contractors?
A: Major HVAC work, roofing, and other specialized trades are handled by our trusted provider network—but we help take care of all coordination, quotes, and billing so it’s seamless for you.
Q: What are your hours of operation?
A: We’re available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. For emergencies outside these hours related to HVAC, plumbing, or urgent tree service needs—we’ve got you covered with dedicated helplines. You can rest easy knowing help is just a call away, anytime a problem pops up.

Q: Is EncompassOne insured?
A: Yes! We are fully insured, and all of our service providers meet strict licensing and insurance requirements per our company policy.
Included Maintenance Plan
What is included in the bi-annual maintenance plan?
- Clean lint from the interior of the clothes dryer.
A clogged dryer vent reduces drying efficiency, increases energy costs, and presents a fire risk. Keeping it clean saves time and money while keeping your home safe. - Assess washing machine hose connections.
We check for cracks or bulges that could lead to leaks or costly water damage. - Clean dishwasher filter.
Keeps your dishwasher running smoothly and eliminates odors from trapped food debris. - Assess and disinfect garbage disposal.
Prevents foul odors and helps your disposal continue to break down waste properly.
- Clean all shower, tub, and sink drains.
Clearing out buildup helps prevent slow drains and future backups requiring costly plumbing visits. - Assess all plumbing for leaks and corrosion.
A thorough check for leaks and deterioration helps avoid costly plumbing emergencies. - Tune up and assess all toilets.
We inspect internal parts to ensure proper flushing and prevent continuous running. - Clean aerators/screens in all shower heads and sink faucets.
Clearing mineral buildup helps restore full water pressure and flow. - Perform a visual assessment of the water heater.
We look for early warning signs that could compromise performance or cause leaks. - Perform a visual assessment of the sump pump.
This check helps ensure your sump pump is ready when it’s most critical. - Perform a visual assessment of the thermal expansion tank (if applicable).
This helps protect your water heater from potential pressure related wear. - Check water pressure and PRV valve.
Proper pressure regulation protects your fixtures, pipes, and appliances from excess strain. - Perform a visual assessment of outside faucets.
We look for signs of damage or slow leaks that could lead to larger issues. - Check water softener and add salt if needed (salt is not provided and will be charged as an additional cost).
We keep your system performing optimally by ensuring salt levels are maintained. - Replace refrigerator water filter (filters billed separately)

- Assess all switches and outlets.
- Replace smoke detector batteries once a year (up to 10 ft. ceilings).
Keeps your family safe by ensuring smoke alarms are ready in case of emergency.
Please note: If the alarm needs to be replaced the new alarm will be billed separately. Customers may provide their own or purchase them through us. - Assess GFI outlets in bathrooms and kitchen.
We test these outlets to make sure your home’s electrical safety features are working properly.
- Assess and lubricate door hinges and hardware as needed.
Eliminates squeaky doors and ensures everything operates smoothly throughout your home. - Assess all kitchen cabinet/vanity doors and drawers, lubricate as needed.
Ensures cabinetry continues to function properly and avoids progressive wear. - Tighten toilet paper holders, towel bars, and similar fixtures.
Securing loose fixtures improves usability and prevents damage to surrounding surfaces. - Assess and lubricate garage doors.
Helps your garage door open and close smoothly and avoids bigger issues later.

Helps prevent moisture buildup, protecting your bathrooms from mildew and mold. - Clean air return and supply grills.
Improves indoor air quality and reduces stress on your HVAC system. - Replace HVAC filters.
Replacing filters regularly helps protect your HVAC system and supports indoor air quality.
Please note: Filters are not included and will be billed separately. Customers may provide their own filters or purchase them through us.
